Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information is handled when you visit iswarp (edu.siwarp.si), a free, independently run AI-learning site based in Hong Kong. You do not need an account to read anything here.

1. Information we collect

  • No accounts or forms. We do not ask for your name, email or any other personal details to read the site. The "subscribe" box on the home page is a preview only and does not send anything.
  • Language preference. When you choose English or Chinese, your choice is saved in your browser's localStorage (key iswarp-lang). It stays on your device, is not sent to us, and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
  • Server and CDN logs. The site is hosted on Amazon Web Services (Amazon S3 and Amazon CloudFront). Like any web server, these services process technical data for each request, such as IP address, browser type, requested page, referring page and time. This data is used to deliver the site, keep it secure (for example, to block abusive traffic or apply regional access rules) and fix problems. Any access logs are kept only as long as needed for these purposes.
  • Web fonts. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address and browser details. See Google's Privacy Policy.

2. Advertising

This site may show ads served by Google AdSense to help cover running costs.

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info.

Where required by law (for example, for visitors in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland), ads will only use cookies for personalisation after you give consent through a consent message.

3. Cookies

The site itself does not set cookies; it only uses localStorage for your language choice. If ads are shown, Google and its partners may set or read cookies as described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the guides will still work.

4. Children

This site is meant for a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Guides link to other websites, such as AI tool providers. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, so please read their policies.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the effective date above will be updated.
